Project Overview & Technical Scope
As part of the greenfield Noida International Airport (Jewar) development—one of Asia’s largest upcoming aviation hubs—Labotek executed the Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning (SITC) of the critical ICT Passive Cabling Package under EPC 1. This project forms the foundational digital nervous system for the airport’s air traffic, terminal operations, baggage handling, and passenger experience.
Engineering & Infrastructure Highlights
- High-Speed Optical Fiber Backbone: Deployment of multi-core single-mode and multi-mode armored fiber cables interconnecting the passenger terminal, air traffic control tower, and ancillary buildings.
- Structured Cabling & Campus LAN: End-to-end Cat6A shielded cabling architecture designed for high-bandwidth data transmission and extreme electromagnetic immunity.
- Dual-Ring Redundancy: Fault-tolerant network topology ensuring uninterrupted data flow and failover protection across critical airport systems.
- Scalable Next-Gen Design: High-density distribution frames engineered to accommodate future airport expansion phases and millions of annual passengers.
Aviation Impact
Provides a rock-solid, ultra-reliable digital communication network that guarantees high-speed data exchange for flight information display systems (FIDS), security surveillance, baggage tracking, and airline operations.
